Amar Shergill Amar is a trial attorney with The Shergill Law Firm, practicing exclusively in personal injury and wrongful death. He is a member of the Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association and Consumer Attorneys of California. He began his legal career working for insurance companies in the claims, product management and litigation defense departments. Amar has lived in the Sacramento area since 1996, and he enjoys participating in Cub Scouts and organized soccer with his children. Shama Mesiwala Shama is a senior judicial attorney in the chambers of the Honorable Ronald B. Robie of the Third District Court of Appeal in Sacramento. Before joining the court, she was a staff attorney for the Central California Appellate Program (CCAP) where she argued cases before the California Supreme Court, the Third District Court of Appeal and the Fifth District Court of Appeal. She began her legal career as an attorney at the Federal Public Defenders Office in Sacramento. She has been in our region since 1995 when she came to Davis to begin law school.
